Technical Asset Manager | Wind Farm Operations, Maintenance & Performance Optimization

About

Sami Amini is a technical professional specializing in the operational management and performance optimization of onshore wind assets. Currently serving as a Technical Asset Manager at ERG France, Amini oversees the technical lifecycle of wind farm operations, including real-time performance monitoring, the coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance, and the evaluation of power curves and energy yields. The role involves rigorous technical oversight of turbine OEMs and subcontractors to ensure maximum asset availability and grid compliance. With a professional background rooted in Civil Engineering and project management, Amini possesses extensive experience in the construction and commissioning phases of renewable energy projects. Having previously served as a Project Engineer and Owner’s Engineer, Amini has supervised all phases of wind farm construction, including civil works, electrical collection systems, and turbine assembly (towers, nacelles, and blades). This transition from site-level construction monitoring to asset management provides a comprehensive understanding of balance of plant (BoP) integrity and long-term structural reliability. Technical competencies include SCADA troubleshooting, HSE regulatory compliance, and the implementation of internal retrofits to enhance turbine performance. Amini holds a Master of Science in Project Management in Energy and Environmental Engineering and has completed advanced technical training in wind turbine component theory, facilitating precise diagnostic and maintenance planning for complex onshore wind portfolios.
