About

Muhammad Panah is a senior Construction and Site Manager with over 18 years of international experience executing large-scale energy infrastructure and electrical transmission projects. Specializing in the end-to-end construction, installation, and commissioning of extra-high-voltage (EHV), high-voltage (HV), and medium-voltage (MV) substations, he has a proven track record of delivering complex EPC and EPCM projects across the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. His expertise in power evacuation and grid integration is directly applicable to the electrical balance of plant (BoP) requirements of utility-scale onshore wind energy developments. Holding an electrical engineering background, he brings deep technical oversight to hybrid-GIS, AIS, and Static VAR Compensator (SVC) substation builds. His operational scope encompasses managing multidisciplinary site activities, overseeing heavy equipment installations—such as large power transformers and switchgear—and coordinating complex electrical and civil interfaces. He is highly proficient in enforcing strict health, safety, and environment (HSE) protocols, optimizing site manpower and logistics, and ensuring rigorous quality assurance and control (QA/QC) compliance throughout the construction lifecycle. Throughout his career working alongside major OEMs and global EPC contractors—including Marubeni, GE Grid Solutions, and Alstom—he has demonstrated strong leadership in subcontractor management, cost and schedule control, and stakeholder coordination. By systematically mitigating site risks and aligning field progress with critical path method (CPM) schedules, he ensures the safe, timely, and budget-compliant delivery of critical high-voltage infrastructure.
