Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) is a prominent American independent power producer (IPP) and a portfolio company of OMERS Infrastructure. Since its founding in Texas in 2003, LRE has grown to own and operate over 30 utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage facilities, representing approximately 4 GW of operational capacity.
